MARK YOUR CALENDAR - McHAPPY DAY is MAY 8th

McDonald’s Canada franchisees and crew across the country are ready to celebrate McHappy Day with you, an annual day of community giving in support of Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities. A portion of proceeds from every menu item sold all day supports RMHC and families with sick children!

Canada is celebrating the 30th McHappy Day at McDonald’s restaurants across Canada on Wednesday, May 8This year, there are even more ways to support families from your community calling RMHC-SWO home! 

  • Be a McHero simply by ordering your faves on May 8 at McDonald’s restaurants, via the drive-thru, or through the McDonald’s app. Can’t make it to a restaurant?  Order McDelivery via Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes or DoorDash and receive a $0 delivery fee on a McDonald’s order of $20  (plus tax) or more! 

  • Exclusive McDonald’s x Peace Collective merch is back, featuring retro McDonaldland characters! Proceeds from every purchase will support RMHC across Canada. Get yours for a limited time before it’s gone: VISIT ONLINE STORE  

  • Donate $2, $5, or $10 at your local McDonald’s and you’ll receive a McHappy Day heart to write your name on and show your support for RMHC SWO, or make a donation within the McDonald’s app.

  •  Purchase a pair of Peace Collective McHappy Day socks for $5 (plus tax) at participating McDonald’s restaurants and through the McDonald’s app! While supplies last. 

  •  Round Up for RMHC on McHappy Day, and every day, and the difference will be donated directly to RMHC-SWO

  • Volunteer at your local McDonald's by reaching out to the location closest to you or contacting us to help coordinate.

McHappy Day continues to play a large role in providing Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario with the funds needed to support our Houses and Family Room serving thousands of families each year. Since McHappy Day was first celebrated in 1977, McDonald’s Canada, its franchisees, and generous guests have contributed nearly $66 million for Ronald McDonald Houses and local Canadian children’s charities.
