WINDSOR HOUSE

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are a vital part of making our House feel like a "home-away-from-home". Some of the many benefits of becoming a volunteer include making new friends within the community and getting to know the wonderful families who are staying close to their seriously ill children.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES

House Support

For the individual who likes to keep busy. House Support volunteers play a vital role in ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere and a clean and comfortable environment. This position can be found greeting caregivers upon their arrival, checking in Day Pass guests and visitors, answering phones, organizing the common areas, stocking supplies, checking inventory, light housekeeping, and making coffee.

Kitchen Support

For the individual who loves to be in the kitchen. Kitchen Support volunteers help us ensure that families have meals and snacks to keep their energy up. These volunteers can be found in our fully stocked kitchen making snacks, baking goodies, making grab-and-go lunches, and cooking dinners for our families.

Cart with a Heart Volunteers
